Expectations:
- Always Act as an Ambassador of the Gillespie Center.
- Smile and be courteous to all volunteers, employees, members and guests.
- Act in accordance with Gillespie Values at all times.
- Reports to the Center Director. Presents to Board of Directors for recommendations and approvals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Main point of contact for maintenance related vendors (Horowitz, Plunketts, Electrician, Plumbing, etc) and ensures that they are providing the right services in a timely manner.
- Work with vendors pertaining to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
- Reviews vendor invoices to verify charges.
- Communicates and escalates in a timely manner to Director on all updates and issues related to building maintenance.
- Helps with routine maintenance items such as changing light bulbs, check water heaters, vents, etc……
- Complete informal inspections via checklist bi-annually and report problems, concerns, issues.
- Change air compressor oil over 4000 hours.
- Conduct walk-through of property when onsite to look for anomalies that may need attention.
- Keep Maintenance Log and Binder up to date.
- Check water softener salt levels on a regular basis.
- Track all volunteer hours and report them to the Director.
