Expectations:

• Always Act as an Ambassador of the Gillespie Center
• Smile and be courteous to our donors (employees of Cub Foods, Mackenthun’s)
• Act in accordance with Gillespie Values at all times.
• Reports to the Center Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick up Bakery and Food Rescue items from Cub Foods in Greenwood/Shorewood and/or Mackenthun’s in Minnetrista and deliver it to the Gillespie Center.
• Cub Foods pick up requires you to bring your own boxes/bins. Pick up in the Bakery area (items left in 1-2 grocery carts in the middle of the department).
• Mackenthun’s bakery and food rescue are already boxed up and are located up front by the 2nd door entrance (nearest Liquor Store).
• After arrival at the Gillespie Center, sort and put bakery items on shelves per the guidance of the pricing structure. Put refrigerated items in the mini-cooler next to the Front Desk. Suggested donation prices are 50% of retail. If price is not listed on the bakery racks, round down if needed.
• Communicates directly to the Center Director regarding any time off and shift changes.
