Bill Gillespie
It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear friend Bill Gillespie passed away peacefully on April 22, 2013, from cancer. Bill Gillespie’s funeral will be Monday, May 20 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Martin’s by the- Lake Episcopal Church (on Lake Minnetonka) with a Celebration of Bill Gillespie’s Life at 4:30 p.m. at The Gillespie Center in Mound. The family has hired a jazz combo to play and some of Bill’s favorite food will be served. The family has requested that everyone wear yellow, Bill’s favorite color.
Welcome to The Gillespie Center
The Gillespie Center 2590 Commerce BLVD, Mound MN 952-472-6501 is the pride and joy of the Westonka area. It has a beautiful building that was built and is maintained by donations and efforts of the citizens of the community. It has beautiful surroundings and it is located next to a wetland overlooking Lake Minnetonka. Seniors and other community members can gather, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and participate in the many fine programs and activities that are available.

Holasek Greenhouse Tour
Thursday 23 May 9:45 AM. Lunch on your own at Ruby Tuesday. Join us for a guided tour of Holasek's beautiful greenhouses filled with a variety of flowers and plants. Cost for bus and tour $9 signup at front desk.
Country Jam
Wednesday June 19 noon to 2 PM. Signup for lunch ($5) and listen to the music.

LMCC (Lake Minnetonka Cable Commission) produces a program "Seniors on the Go" that often includes a number of items related to the Gillespie Center. The program is shown on cable channel 12 Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 AM and also Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 PM.
